Aloha and happy new year!
We want to personally invite you to learn digital art-making while immersing in the moʻolelo of our home during our 3-day Kaiāulu Creators event, celebrating the stories of Waiʻanae Moku, January 13th, 14th, and 15th 2024. This event is open to all participants from keiki to kupuna, no experience needed! We will have a special program group for keiki from 4th grade to 8th grade, and both adult staff and student volunteers will be ready to help mākua and kupuna navigate the world of digital storytelling through art and animations. Note: Participation in all three days is encouraged for this event as we walk through context on day 1, creation on day 2, and will present your awesome artworks on day 3. A bus will be provided for travel up to Kaʻala on Saturday. Details will be sent directly to applicants after signing up.
